Debunking Myths About Cold Plasma Ozone Generators: The Truth About Efficiency and Performance

There is significant misinformation in the ozone industry, primarily driven by a lack of understanding or an unwillingness to invest in proper research and development. As a result, substandard ozone generators dominate the market. Unaware of the science behind ozone generation, customers often opt for these low-cost, poorly performing systems.

A common misconception involves “cold plasma” ozone generators, often marketed as superior due to claims of lower heat production. While it is true that reducing plasma temperature and improving cooling efficiency can theoretically increase ozone concentration, most so-called “cold plasma” generators fail to produce ozone concentrations higher than 3–5% wt.

In comparison:
